Medical Claims Analysis

Phoenix Care Management, Inc. (PCM) has developed a comprehensive medical claims analysis program for self funded employers. This system groups all of the medical plan’s annual costs including pharmaceuticals for a two-year period. This program is designed to accept transfer of data in many formats. Once the download of data is received, it is washed and separated into categories for analysis.

This analysis identifies individuals who currently have high risk factors as well as those who are potential risks. In most medical plans, 6-8% of covered individuals consume approximately 70% of the total plan expense. After the individuals are identified, they are referred to PCM’s Disease Management Program to reduce the risk of a catastrophic medical claim.

Phoenix Care Management, Inc. believes this is the only solution to reducing the total medical costs for he employer.
